Guidelines

SPAZIO is a bookstore with a selection of three hundred titles, mainly new.

We select books that are internationally distributed and refrain from the self-published.
If you would like to propose a title for consideration please write to info@spaziomilano.org.

SPAZIO is a platform for critical reflection.

We host book presentations and conversations open to the local public. The fee for public presentations is 300 euro + tax. Presentations are recorded and edited for publication on our social media channels. We do not accept presentations of open source books or books that do not align with our editorial selection.

We always try to engage a larger public through social media.

We will always read the book. We will review the book only if it aligns with our editorial selection.

SPAZIO is an architecture gallery.

We host four thematic exhibitions annually:

Fall: September - October - November
Winter: December - January - February
Spring: March - April - May
Summer: June - July

These are research exhibitions developed specifically for our space and our audience, either independently or in collaboration with external curators.

We attribute great importance to the narrative aspect of exhibition projects and try to facilitate a conversation with the visitor through each and every work. Exhibitions are narrated to the public in ever-changing ways. The materials on display can be the most varied: photographs, sketches, drawings, publications, models, objects.

Each exhibition proposes a research theme that is developed in relation to a reference bibliography that the public can consult.

Fees vary according to the nature of each project. Usually our exhibitions are born of one year long conversations. We generally do not host short term projects. We do not rent the space during Salone del Mobile or Fashion Week.
